Synchronicity
The synchronicity of life
The follies of our youth
The wisdom of the ages
In sentiment and in truth
The wars of culture clashes
The sting of rituals
Has taken the bliss of innocence
Leaving a canyon of pitfalls.
Watch them wander as they run
Searching life for love, for fun,
And searching the darkness
For the light, for the sun,
Leaving their hearts all undone
Take me with you as you fly.
Past the mountains to the sky.
In that moment I shall die.
Taking with me all my pain
Risking nothing, giving all,
Living life, but not in vain…
The clouds are full of darkness
They leave the mind so numb
I see a great storm coming
The shift in weather will be stunning.
But storms they pass, as all storms do.
And soon you waken to skies so blue.
And float in the rainbow's beautiful hue.
Away with feelings of numb and cold
Basking in the fullness of a sunlit day
Streaming light waves of ethereal gold,
The warmth of life, and love untold.
In that day,
You'll find your way,
In everlasting,
Synchronicity.
