Caught up
in lust, in laughs
in bluster and bursts
amid tirades and trysts
All spilling out in lines
Caught up
in oodles and oodles
of Valentines
some lace
some trace
the lines of
a lost lover’s face
Caught up
in drama
and trauma
and some laundry lists
Thank God for twists
that bring a smile
or chuckle
Caught up
at last
through scrolling fast
thank God I learned
to read
with speed
Caught up
I hate to fall
behind, for I
might miss the best
read of them all
Caught up
at last with one
and all
Until I hit
