Night fire
Night fire
~
give me a fire
which rages with warmth
which cracks and spits
a comforting light
give me the wood
the paper wrapped
to fuel this fire
throughout the night
give me the joy
of each dancing flame
where silhouettes grace
the imagination of the mind
in this darkening night
I ask only this
to be at a fires side
