52 Degrees
A heavy dew splashes my window
52 Degrees of cold mist outside
Too cold to touch
Beautiful to stare
Right there
Nothing.
Calm smudge
Distorts the world
Breaking all peceptual realities
Just beyond my dreary window
It'll be right there, waiting, stalking
Just as you exit the warmth
Chill you to the bone
Penetrate the skin, muscles
Numbing the worry
The anxiety
Momentarily
