If Matches Are Made In Heaven
If matches are made in heaven
Then where on earth are we?
I've spent half my life writing poetry
I don't want to cry over what I've lost or gained
And now I'm in love with you for the life that remains
I smile back to me with the thought of you….
That lingers all through the day
For I've fallen in love with you
And don't know what to say
I hope this will be the last time my pen will ever flow
Pouring out words of love….for my only one you know.
