DAILY BY THE BEDSIDE(A Lenten Reflection)
I sat.....wide-gazed..
Life's possibilities....
Not without the Cross
Pinning me to earth notwithstanding
The joys, happiness
That must have been mine
This and that would have made life unbearable
If not for embracing the Cross
Befallen yet whole in spirit
Daily by the bedside
Immortalized by the man on the Cross
Nailed, crowned and crushed to death
Daily by the bedside
i die from sin, mistakes
Over acts only by your Cross
Was redeemed
