Keep the Pain
I caught it laying down
The sound carried me away
And I was gone
'And when you see love over your shoulder
will it be as you are running away? '
Saw the sun arising this morning
And I saw it as no wonder
And now I'm wondering
'And when you tasted love
has it all come asunder? '
I could have been a pessimist
But I wasn't up to it
Thru all the good given
I decided I would keep the pain
