Rhymes
I caught the rhymes
of an ancient
Long ago song
on the snags of
my mind.
A simple melody
that goes round
and around
and around
my brain.
As historied
yet relevant
and fresh
as new
turned dirt
in the spring
I caught...or at
least I thought
I did...
Or was I caught
instead
