Inner Zen
Just wanted you to know
You didn't bring me down
I was already low
And had nowhere to go
I brought it on myself
Nothing to do with you
I took it off the shelf
I made friends with that elf
You were somehow just there
In that time of my life
I know it isn't fair
And I really don't care
So, don't pity my fall
Or feel it was your fault
What we had was so small
I had to learn to crawl
Before walking again
And that has made me strong
Just knowing that I can
Having that inner Zen
