What I Think

Twisted sinister dark figure
Lurking in shadows on the ground
Human? I wonder, maybe not
Furtively crawling and oozing
Its rotting stench overwhelms me
Growing stronger and yet fading
Mostly black with gray here and there
Hidden from view yet plain as day
Night again, is that you calling?
Heaving, retching, gasping, groping
Alone but not lonely I think
Playing and toying or plain evil?
Alter ego, a mind gone mad
Reflects the ugly and wicked
What could be worse than all of this?
Thinking of what I think, I think
