Those Obscene Moments!
“ In multifarious roles,
she displays her talents
but they don’t give her an award.
In one film, she kills a lagerlout
tempting him to swig poisoned drinks.
In another she laments
Over her past sinful life.
She is a lascivious servant
in many a movie.
She would launch out often into crimes
and land up in police stations.
Her leer pulls the young and old
again and again to theatres squalid.
She is a mountain of flesh making
all the eyes longing and not blinking.
Fit for an international award! ”,
My friend lectured taking no break.
“ Please be calm for a while.
First I see that heroine in the film
and tell you then if she is fit”,
I replied and followed him into the theatre.
“In films meant for all, the teenaged heroines
display their navels and make obscene moves,
for the young boys to clap and whistle
and the awards rush to reach them,
despite their faces failing to show emotions”.
“ Yeah…Yeah. Please …the film is screened! ”,
I coaxed him to look at the screen.
The very beginning scene, a stolen video clip
mesmerized the audience to be in still.
But I heard groans and cries of my friend.
“Take him out”, some yelled from behind.
I took him out and looked at him.
“ How can I tell you? My own sister the worst one! ”,
he said and squatted on the floor.
I have no words to console him
and just patted on his back and led him out.
