What Will It Be?

If it's yea, the lightest of hearts, I'll sing,
Towards heaven, exulting all the way,
In meadows, I'll dance, but to grass I'll cling,
Afraid that a breeze, might waft me away.

If it's nay, the heaviest of souls, I'll sink,
The sky, I'll bear, clad in mourner's frock,
Should I walk on granite slabs, I'd still think,
That I'll dent footprints, on the solid rock.

If maybe, would happen to be the word,
A change of heart, may favor what is true,
I will wait, for time, I could well afford,
Till eternity, add a day or two.
