Sam Maneksaw
Julius Caesar won many wars for Rome.
Rome was ungrateful to grant him death.
Sam Maneksaw won a great war for India
India was ungrateful to ignore his death.
No heads, of the ministry or the army,
Partook in his sidelined funerals.
Must we do extraordinary things,
Expecting any eternal gratitude?
