Another World
I spent most of my days
At home…
And was most content sitting
In my room alone
I rarely go out
For I don’t know where to go
I pulled away from the friends
I had always known
I began falling in
With another world
A world with a crowd
That I have never seen
A crowd…
That I’ve never touched
Nor even poked
But touches my life
And my whole being
Though we’ve never talked
I can hear their voices
Their cries, their laughs
Their giggles and noises
Though sometimes I feel sad
With their sorrows and pains
Still I keep moving
I surf… I read
And visit another page
I have no idea
When this journey will end
What I only found
I’m no longer alone
And part of me knows
I always will be
A member, a resident
Of this unseen world
