Today... 'Fragrant Offering

On the hill a Fragrant Offering stood.
The Son of God hung on a piece of wood.
The Earth grew dark and the sun hid its light
as men stood gazing at the gruesome sight.

It was in love for us that He had died.
when 'Father forgive them, ' out loud He cried.
Lowered His head and submitted to death
and gave up His life with His final breath.

A Fragrant Offering and sacrifice.
Out of love for us He has paid sins price.
Shed His blood that we might be forgiven
and opened the gateway into heaven.
