Graveyard

Hereafter they live again
Not by the names
They were christened when born
But by the names
As humans, they did earn

Not by the flesh
They did reign and yield
Nor by the hearts
They loved, hated, laughed and lamented
But by the spirit
That compromises every dissent
And discord, left remnant
By past mortal trait

The day they entered this tract
They buried forever their hatchets
Deep under their own vaults
Those who died of penury
As well, those who lived by their
Money, status and vanity
Sleep here, under the same canopy
In an eternal silence
Of peace, solace and amity

At last, they found their real home here
Safe and snug in good neighborhood
Of vultures, serpents and scorpions
Having well escaped from vile human jungle.

This is the grand graveyard
Of life after life
Where every human is dreaded to tread
But ultimately reached when dead
