Guillotine
Her heart is a guillotine
Once alas I placed mine
Rolled out two pieces anon
Even years after the fatal lesion
Remained the clotted blood stain
Reminding the worst ever let down
Well! Never enough of the learned lesson
This poor heart moaning in pain
Still pines for a love sign
Of what virtue is it’s reckon
Expecting a cloudless rain
