Just to Be in the Presence of This Baby Three Weeks Old
Just to be in the presence of this baby three weeks old
Is a great pleasure-
Just to hover over her cradle
And watch her sleep
Is to see the whole world differently.
How strangely and deeply moving
The sight of this child-
How small how miraculous she is
How happy she makes us all –
There is Hope in the world again.
