It Doesn't Matter
You look at me with eye's so cold
and a heart made of stone
drowning me in tears
of a love that never was to be
knowing it doesn't matter anymore
because you never loved me anyway
after all of these years
All the nights I spent alone
waiting there for you just to come home
listening for the words you would never say
while I watch everything around us decay
still you just turned and walked away
and left me here with nothing to hold
but it doesn't matter like before
because you never loved me that way
the way I wanted to see
Letting it all go you chose to hide
behind your mask of lies
that you only told
as you closed the door
without any good-bye's
trying to take away my pride
but it doesn't matter no more
I seen through your disquise
and now I realize
I don't love you enough to stay
