Rain Falls

Desert ruins that lay to waste
with the smell and bitter taste
of death in the air
the screams of misery inside
from a blood red sky
left for those in despair
of those we felt die

A past full of unforgotten years
filled with genocide
as rain falls thousands of tears
remembering the souls that weep
of those that lay to sleep
now in thier resting place

As a mother holds her child
with sadness on her face
she longs for a past
of a time so long ago
where dreams were so vast
now she had to let go
as so many bleed
for the white man's greed
