Walk On Alone
I had to leave you far behind
just wanting to forget the past
with your tear stain on my shirt
from a love that couldn't last
and one we would never find
All that we had left here
was only the pain and hurt
and memories not worth us to share
so we walk on alone in despair
with a love that wasn't enough to care
and broken days we can never rewind
We looked at this love blind
so letting go I had to you there
and I walk on alone
never to look back again
leaving you and this love in vain
Tired of all the tears that we shed
that fell from our eye's like rain
now not worth crying
inside you left me dying
on a path I feared to tread
and turned my heart to stone
