One wave, far-off questions..!
One wave, far off, questions
That gliding all the way smoothly
Does fall feebly in my ears;
For which a wave closer to me
On its approach to the shore answers!
Next question now is born ahead of me;
A fainter reply it fetches in its wake.
Eternal Doubts and Eternal Queries
Perennial patient Answers!
Queries are born near the shores;
Queries beget replies at the shores
Yet the distance serene and speechless
As a cute child to its parent
A volley of questions-silly or wise-
These baby waves to the mature ones
Endlessly shoot and tirelessly listen!
Wiser I grow amidst this august assembly
While I stand in rapt attention;
With every minute that drifts along
One more secret the Nature reveals
Out of its rich awesome depths!
