The Boss
It was not because you hooted
that the cars in the front moved
it was not because you spoke
that the silence got missing
it was not because you prayed
that the city got saved!
can't you see it
that you are just a wave in motion
and that you hold no place in the ocean
can't you tell
that you are just a breeze in moment
and that reality owes you nothing
After all, it wasn't you
who told the sun to smile
the sun smiles on evil and good
those tears you wept did nothing
to convince God in saving humanity
so you are not the boss my dearest
