Anything I’ve Known of Her
Love finds a way to survive
Even through the desert of denial
And the abysmal distance of separation.
Two souls can learn to communicate
Using telepathic messages
And mystical transmissions of imagination.
When my heart has suffered
The unrelenting ordeal
Of not gazing into her eyes,
My memories merely grow stronger
For every romantic detail
Of her dazzling existence:
The way her hair sways
When she walks
And rests upon her shoulders
When she collects her thoughts
In the pensive moonlight,
The soft movements of her lips
When she smiles
Or when she talks,
The lovely elegance of her hands
Placing a flower into a vase,
The stunning beauty of her face
Standing in the sunlight beside a window.
I’ll never forget anything I’ve known of her
And the way it felt like revelation
When we sat together in a simple room.
