Animal Rights(A Dog At The Temple)

There was a big temple,
busy with many worshipers,
who looked gentle and humble,
before the gods,
chanting prayer nonstop,
for a good luck,
to gain a big buck,
with burning joss-sticks in their hands.
Their wishes for wealth never end,
asking for winning lottery to become millionaires,
which seemed to god so unfair,
because they threw into donation-box only a few small coins
At that time, a hungry dog started to whine.
It was so thin and with skin disease.
The worshipers felt so disgusting and unease.
One of them shooed the dog away.
As it was slow, weak and frailed,
he picked a stone up and threw at it.
On the dog's head it directly hit.
The dog painfully cried and fled,
with its tail between its hind legs.
