The 'calla' is exquisite
To peer 'pon with delight.
Its thick-green stem
Is a unique sight.
A favorite, it lends
Its touch to all:
Boutonnière, centerpiece,
Paintings for the wall.
A gorgeous flower,
The calla lily is.
