Ceaser's Wife.

She stood alone in the midst,
The senators filled with sorrow,
Not able to console her,
since she had no tears rolling
Down her cheeks, nor a feeling,
Of sadness shown on her face,
Since she was used to the rise
Of her beloved husband,
And foolish acts of her children,
Drunk day in and out, never
doing any thing akin to Ceaser's
Life so dominant and caring
For her and their empire.
She accompanied to the place
Of the tomb constructed
For her assassinated husband,
And stared at it unflinchingly.
