Dave ~ On Your Retirement

Dave has driven our Minibus
Twice weekly to the shops,
And assisted our Residents,
With many little jobs.

For almost fifteen years,
At Cherry Tree Court he's been,
And his pleasant disposition,
By All ~ could be seen.

But now he is Retiring,
This week will be his last Trip,
Taking the Residents shopping,
Helping them ~ lest they slip.

I am a relative Newcomer,
To Cherry Tree in March, I came,
I do not yet need the bus,
~ But, I'll miss him just the same.

His Cheery Disposition,
His Gentle Caring Ways,
May he have a Happy Retirement,
Until the End of His Days.
