Life … Captivity

Life is a tale full of twists and turns
Of seas that calm and a Sun that burns
Of joys you laugh and sorrows you cry
Of deeds you do and goals you try;

Some roads still remain
untraversed, aloof,
Like the rider who knows not his horse's hoof,
When it sores, When it pains
Climbing along unfriendly terrains
The horse still continues its run,
Faithful, the beast of burden,
Uncomplaining, riding, neighing along
His mind however swaying along

Thinking when it would be free
When it would be unbound of the tree
When it will rise above the clouds
Far away from the madding crowds.
