A walk gauged to rhythm
Miles and miles to travel
Yet only for a moment.
A treat in the dark
Serendipity in the light
Muse of terpischore
Pat tone set by quaking hands.
Dream on, dear penman
Peruse every line
Let epic and erato speak
Jelled with the spice of humor
Calliope of verse and dance
Sage of steadfast flexure
Bragi's bow to entourage
Doves fly to his windows.
