Sunset On The River
Sunset on the river
I ate salad and enjoyed the view
Of soft summer breezes
And my conversations with you
Tomorrow will be sunny
With temperatures that delight
In the evening we'll dine on our deck
And welcome in the night
Sunset on the river
Makes the end of a hot day seem fine
Especially knowing that tonight
We'll sleep with our arms entwined
