Drought

My tears my tears which water my mind
My tears my tears which make me strong
Tears of joy, tears of every kind
Tears of my sorrow, in my sorrowful song
Weeping tears never more
It is gone, it is gone my hearts manifestation
My tears, my tears my eyes adore
The tears of my soul, my only consolation
But never more, will my eyes leak
I can cry no more, for death did steal
The tears of me, forever dry and weak
My tears, my joy, my life's zeal…

We whisper goodnight…

As the clock of love ticks
Mine heart slowly grows
Our love melted in we sticks
As in thine heart mine love flows
Gently like the somber waves
Of the sorrowful sea blue
The sound we follow paves
Art love to beauty true
Melted together like the heat of the sun
We shine on the waves gleam
Flowing together with the voice of one
In earth's shadows we beam
Our light of sweet heaven delight
In the light of stars in tender night
We whisper goodnight…

Soul Of Sin

The sorrowful soul collects dirt that drives us down in sin,
Inner workings of the organ that collapses are huge;
This mishmash of thoughts and sentiments is immense,
Offering us no explanation, no controversy but nature.
To highlight one opinion carries the harm of upsetting,
And if upsetting is absurd then let torture be not.
For the mind works so hard in its quest to fineness,
Total disregard for it relies on willpower and ardour.

William Butler Yeats

He Gives His Beloved Certain Rhymes

FASTEN your hair with a golden pin,
And bind up every wandering tress;
I bade my heart build these poor rhymes:
It worked at them, day out, day in,
Building a sorrowful loveliness
Out of the battles of old times.
You need but lift a pearl-pale hand,
And bind up your long hair and sigh;
And all men's hearts must burn and beat;
And candle-like foam on the dim sand,
And stars climbing the dew-dropping sky,
Live but to light your passing feet.

Russian Dolls

The waves are flowing out to space
Carrying the loveliest of human beauty,
And the most sorrowful mysteries of mankind
Into the ether and the farthest reaches:
Angelic voices and holy chords
Television, radio, and x-ray
A swelling wave of human ingenuity
Never stopping on its way
Back into the universe beaming
Goes the love we were vested with
Love converted once again
Into cosmic radiation
To help ignite the new creations
Incipient explosion.

She

“Confess to me, what’s wrong. You’re in dejection.”
- I love, my friend! - “Which lady holds you captive?”
- She does. - “Glisera? Chloe? Lila’s so attractive!”
- O, no! - “To whom do you submit your soul’s affection?”
- To her! - “You’re humble! Why all this remorse?
Why do you seem so sorrowful and grim?
And who’s to blame? Her fiancé, her dad, of course...”
- It isn’t that! - “Then what?” - For her, I can’t be him.

Shared Sorrow

She forbid me to see him,
my mama did.
She said he was no good.
He was lazy. He was crazy.
He would do me wrong.
I guess if I listened like I should
I wouldn't be cryin'
and feel kike dyin'
and singin' a sorrowful song.

She never said 'I told you so.'
She just held me tight
and let me cry my tears.
'Cause my mama knew
what I was goin' through
for she remembered all the years
that she'd been cryin'
and felt like dyin'
'cause my papa left her too.

Dream - dream

Sorrowful seems this end of mourn;
maybe in tear woods cry - cries adorn,
a foolish end that merits near,
my tragicomical nostalgia to appear;

dream - dream my anguished stare,
amid sea waves and black rocks bare,
for you that didn't ask to be torn,
in sepia stills, modes of a brass horn.

Up in air, where winds are hurting,
potable loneliness, tears are flirting;
drink- drink my exorbitant pleasure,
and spill in clouds, tearful measure.

Summer's Perennial Sundae

Summer's perennial sundae:
smile melting under June's warm moon.

At times I become a messy faced child,
my budding head ripe with dirty thoughts.

Tongue savory carnal crave
Guilt free sensual indulgence

Not wanting to allow the moment to suddenly melt,
(seeing myself drown in vanilla's sorrowful puddles on the floor)
I summon winter and all its icy preserve,
in order
to freeze that carefree cherry that sits,
fluffing the creamy pillows between us.

The Strong May Be Weak

When sorrow stabs a mind,
There’s so much it can find.

The strong may be the weak,
Hiding behind a façade they seek
To appear to be powerful
By causing others to be sorrowful.

Their weapons of hate and attack
Will only ricochet back
Further wounding their weakened mind
While forcing others farther behind.

Their weakness will start to fade
The moment in sorrow they’re not afraid
To view tenderness as something strong
And being a bully as always wrong.
