She said, “Oh nein, oh nein, oh nein! ”
and since she was a German girl.
he wouldn’t do what seemed not fine
to her, a charming chap, no churl.
He let her go at once, but she

A twinkle in his eyes
Catches her eyes

You are my august lady who visited me on the 12th of August,
And the abosolute proof of your love cannot be denied!
For you met what you wanted on this date.
She was as sweet as the apples and,
She motivated me to move on;
For she was like the wealth of a Nation.
Oh yes, the promised land was occupied by her love;
And she had enough from what she wanted.
From Winneba to Accra and from the realms of love,
For she was hoping for something great on this date!
And there it was with her nakedness on 12th August;
With no opinionated controversy like, a boat on the deep blue sea.

My teacher wasn't half as nice as yours seems to be
'My teacher wasn't half as nice as yours seems to be.
His name was Mister Unsworth and he taught us history.
And when you didn't know a date he'd get you by the ear
And start to twist while you sat there quite paralysed with fear.
He'd twist and twist and twist your ear and twist it more and more.
Until at last the ear came off and landed on the floor.
Our class was full of one-eared boys. I'm certain there were eight.
Who'd had them twisted off because they didn't know a date.

Sonnet: My Wait is Almost Over
A little breeze to blow, I long await,
With summer show’rs of rain to lessen heat;
For God to open yet another gate:
For patience still to pull off my great feat.
For silver lining in the clouds, I wait;
For clouds that hide both sun and moon- to move;
Some writing on the wall to change my fate;
To feel the magic of my Maker’s love.

I did dream for more time
Wish and want for proper time

The cinema your hand in mine
A first time lips meet
An evening stroll along any street

Our Loves Birthmark
We made a mark on October 3rd, between you and me this was the birth but this to me was the start of our universe,
This day it all began, one day one place we came together me and you, a day with a birthmark that reminds me of our love you loving me and me loving you
January, February, march, April and may half way there to that special date
Got the calendar counting the days June, July, August then September and now October 3rd
This is the date it all began, one place that it came together more than a ring or a tattoo
A solid in the heart birthmark of the love I hold for you

Girls will always be girls

Today’s a special day on planet earth –
A date mankind will remember for long!
Some lucky children are destined for birth;
With happiness, the world will ring the gong!
A festive mood prevails all through the day;
The phenomenon drives most people mad;
Each one has plans to celebrate some way;
All hope that nothing happens truly bad.
Most people start the day with worship first!
All aim to spend the time blissfully then;
They pray that God prevents the gloom that’s worst;
Some minds and eyes gaze upwards to heaven.
The fancy date will pass away quite fast,
Remaining thing in world history that’s past!
