A Song to the Blessed Virgin Mary
Above the ocean, stands a star –
In human form and feminine;
She carries in her hands, a babe –
The Son of God, the King divine!
She calls us all to pray with her –
For conversion of heathen souls;
She tells the rosary is one –
That saves sinners from going to hell.
The baby boy with her is Christ –
Who died upon the cross for us;
He is the light and way and truth –

O God of wisdom infinite,
And fountain-head of knowledge great!

God is Love and Love is God
God is love;
By love, God made man;
Through love, He cares for man;
With love, He guides and protects him;
Due to love, He transforms man throughout life;
Because of love of man, He incarnated;
For love of man, He permitted His only begotten Son to suffer and be crucified;
Love of man made Him to redeem man;
Just love makes Him to welcome man to heaven;
Mere love makes God to forgive man for all his trespasses;
Divine love makes God to await for man;
Sheer love made God form the universe;
Love is God.
Can man ever fail to love God back?

Holy Baptism
The water bathes the body but
The Holy Spirit works within,
When words divine uttered makes one
A member of Lord Jesus Christ!
The grace of God brings marked change;
Past sins and punishments are gone;
The sacrament called Baptism
Brings us to Christ and is the first!
‘Unless a man is born again,
Of water and of Holy Ghost,
He cannot enter God’s Kingdom! ’
Said Jesus Lord to Apostles.
The rite is simple; so, the words;
The cleansing is of soul, mind, heart;

A battle-time for folks;
Each soul seems like war-zone;
So, circumcise your hearts;
Renounce your sinful crafts.
Think of the good God did;
Repent for sins of past;

Read holy works and books;
Reflect on life’s true worth;
Regain soul’s state of grace;

Man’s God’s Vessel of Special Make!
God doesn’t allow us problems, we can’t take;
He won’t abandon us nor us forsake;
Accept your yoke and cross for Lord Christ’s sake;
But be alert, righteous, always awake!
‘Take up your cross and follow me! ’ Christ spake;
Let Tempter’s craftiness come in our wake;
No crocodile can harm us in a lake;
Though clay vessel, we are God’s special make.
Let sufferings come, travail and pain or ache;
We cannot eat as well as keep the cake;
Why mix more flour, if we can’t surely bake?
The Holy Spirit shows us what is fake!
