Quotes about date, page 14
All Things In Nature
All things in Nature have a purpose and all life does inter-relate
And only Nature herself it seem does not have a use by date
And us humans are like Nature's Seasons to life we come and go
And the more we learn of Nature the less about her we know we know
Nature has been around forever and she will live forever more
Everywhere around the World Nature lives on every shore
In the warmest and coldest Countries Nature's life forms are known to dwell
Without any help from humans most creatures survive quite well
All things in Nature seem co-dependent at least that's how it does appear
Most wild creatures warn others when they sense danger is near
One is born to live as predator one is born to live as prey
The predator weeds out the injured, sick and aged that is always Nature's way
All things in Nature have a purpose and all things does inter-relate
And Nature she goes on forever on her there is no use by date.

No one should be alone on Valentines Day
A letter drops the flap shuts
Rip it open to check the remark
Can't take it it's driving me nuts
With love from a question mark
Few short days to go
Pulling the daisy petals out one at a time
I just have to know
Will she be or won't she be my Valentine
Bought a flower array and dark chocolate
Even a red pillow in the shape of a heart
Place a smile on my face to protect my fate
Ran out the door to claim my sweetheart
Out of breath got to the destination
Maybe she already has a date
Wondering about her explanation
Accidentally squeezed the chocolate

The biggest mistake
With the palyful gait of a chid,
i was playing with my friends,
in the rocky hill and sand,
With all might i was playing the game.
All were busy pushing, pulling, running,
I too was doing the same,
but my attention was driven away from the game,
The sight of a playful goat was alluring me away.
The sight of the shiny black goat,
made me thought to chase and play with it,
But the goat was not ready to do the same,
so i was running fast to chase.
Its unwillingness to play with me,
was making me crazy to play,
So i was running with a frenzy,
to catch it with all my might.

The Night A Processed Pea Took Out A Canned Tomato
The stars were shining bright
upon the night
a processed pea took out a canned tomato.
They took a look in at the Apple,
got all hung up on a Christmas tree.
The canned tomato started to wobble
and nearly squashed the processed pea.
They dropped out to stay alive
clearing away before the Beatles did arrive.
On the way back to the shop
they met up with a gooseberry
who joined them on the ground floor
in an eye full of sherry
for it was Christmas Day.
It seemed to be a lovely date,
unfortunately they couldn’t stay,
and had to retreat to their cases
before it was too late.

We Walked Together In The Night
We walked together in the night
Hand in hand, intertwined
It was like a magical dream
I just couldn't believe
We walked together in the night
My heart raced on as if I might die
You calmed me down and told me everything would be alright
We walked together in the night
Just you and I
You held my hand, you held me close
You protected me, and kept me safe
We walked together in the night
That night was the best time of my life
Time I spent with you
We walked together in the night
We're just best friends....

Blessed To Be Cursed
I awaken early,
With thoughts that seem...
Already out of date.
Already out of time.
Already...
I feel I am too late.
Bombarded I am,
With images that feed.
And some I feel,
I am not yet ready to taste.
Am I cursed or blessed?
At times I feel in between.
And aging hasn't made this attraction,
Any easier for me...
It seems.
Am I cursed or blessed?
OR blessed to be cursed?

Submission To A Badly Writ Poem
There is a theory about single women [of a certain age]
That like the freudian slip up
They are one cat owners
Some inhabit a single room
Some have a one bed flat
[They are hidden in basements]
They have bad hair and teeth
They have kept their secret behind old photographs
They keep friends to the past
At the back of the fridge shelf with the old vegetation

Now I Understand Marco Polo
You have no idea how difficult it is.
To awaken.
Determined to seek,
Fresh inventive ways...
To sustain controversy.
And to resist,
Mainstream acceptance.
Oh, the agony endured.
Updating those used insults.
The ones that manifested some attention,
With ease and applied intention.
Today...
There seems to be an obsession,
To be as disgusting as possible.
And I remember those times,
When being respectable was encouraged.
I know I 'date' myself with those fading visions.

Nov.4th (Anniversary)
A fog is spilling into these streets again
Like smoke filling the doomed house at night
And the chill is doubling day by day
And the ice on the road creeps this way
Unlivable, it was unworkable for too long
So, the powers that be; they took a chance
And spoke the words that I couldn't say
And stamped the hope with a date and time
The silver skies that were suspended
Clouded up with those freezing fears
That letting go, into that all-unknown
With only a bottle of beer for peace
A year ago we talked, then turned and walked
Beyond the furthest point we'd been before
And into new arms, you were promptly caught
And into a drug, I tossed my heavy heart

Forms (Fun Poem 38)
Our lives are filled with forms
we have to fill in, almost on a daily basis.
Most want a detailed description
of our entire life.
Date of birth, date of death.
You silly iriots if I was dead
I wouldn’t be filling in this form!
What about some of the other silly questions they ask.
There is always one or two.
What gender are you male, female or other.
If other, please explain.
I scratched my head.
I am a cross between a mongoose
and a little green man.
Why must they always put other
when they ask a question?
How do you get to work,
walk, bike, bus, train, car or other.
