Quotes about date, page 15

Taking Too Long Is Not Recommended

The only drawback there is,
To making up one's mind...
With a final decision made,
Is the time, date and the year of it.
And what one believes is needed,
To decide.

If one still has high expectations,
Those awaiting for a response...
For a decision to be made.
And finally that day comes...
As if a light switch has been turned on!
That expectation once high,
Should be lowered considerably.
Since...
The likelihood of that decision made,
Being obsolete...
Is more than just likely a given!

'I'm sorry.

Not Up For That Today

Not up for that today,
No.
Not up for that,
To quarrel and spat
Over traps we set...
To get upset about that now.

Not up for that today,
No.
Not up to discuss how life could have been.
What we've should have done.
Or who committed what sins when.
Not up for that today,
No.

You see that tree budding leaves?
You see that flower blooming with beauty?
You hear the few bees left buzzing?
The birds chirping?
With Spring appearing to bring fresh air?

Because..The Sweet Fragrance of Love

Because of The Fragrance Of Love.
Here and there, life had a sad lonely blend with a gleaming splendor
Diminishing a temporary volcano threat, that did strongly bother
Strong, compassionate, feelings modestly clothed with harmony..
A joyous glow, an avenue, kissed by a gentle breeze with serenity..
Magical thoughts, touching like a dainty feather, the dove of peace,
Calms the rising tension and happiness triumphantly released.
A journey filled with long unanswered questions, do surely awake,
But the fruit of discipline with dignity flowers, help to lesser mistake,
A devotion steady, act reaped results rich, in a soft style.
Liberated, from the confusion, with a blossoming radiant smile.
A fragrant feeling, emotional glory, a power bravely did lend.
Priceless a faith a trust a love, blissful happiness cant comprehend
Feelings gently unfold with delight, sharing sweet sweet, memories
One love, two children, two grand children, a flavor that never did cease!

Never Ending

Never ending
Story and lies from you
I'm wasting my breath on you
I'm not going say anything and just leave you with a letter
I can't say bye
It's just too diffcult and no fight
I won't look back and get my vribe back
I better off in other city or state
Bye honey
I just want to shine and be joyful again
Don't get upset
Never ending
Excuse from you
I don't want to hear it anymore
Just tell me the truth
I'm already in alot of pain
Promise me you won't do anything that make me feel sad and regret
I am breaking up with you
You can be with someone new and different
Don't you want to date other girls too

Domestic Violence

Burned to a crisp,
And blistered by it.

Some may not come to expect,
A direct announcement one might get.
From one sharing a relationship...
That time has come,
For the two of them to split!

Burned to a crisp,
And blistered by it.

Some signs are subtle.
Like an introduction made,
Of a new face someone has laid.
Under unusual circumstances.
When a spouse or a mate...
Is caught in broad daylight,
Making obvious advances.

Do me a favour, bury me

If there is a timeframe for pain
if there is an expiration date for love
an expiration date for everything in life
I just wonder who decides the duration
are we protagonists or bit players?

Take this childish forever and give it a border
let it to fend for itself
this ridiculous feeling deserves your mockery
and when you'll have finished with it
do me a favour, bury me

Yesterday my son built Lego planes
the ultimate joy was to destroy them
that smashing reminded me of my mess
what a awkward image
well, I will cut my hair one day or another

Take this shame and wreak havoc on it
cover all with fresh flowers

4th November 2008

'I have a dream! '
And today the dream is fulfilled by electing Barack Obama;
'I have a dream! '
And the 4th November 2008 is now recorded into the History Books;
'I have a dream! '
And today Barack Obama is the 44th President of the U.S.A.;
For the Blackman is capable of handling his or her own affairs.

'I have a dream! '
And 4th November 2008 will be the date to remember always;
'I have a dream! '
For this date gave the First African American to be a President;
'I have a dream! '
And the shout i do hear around me is: 'Obama, Obama, Obama! ! '
'I have a dream! '
That today the Americans had recorded a History to us all;
'I have a dream! '
That the days of the Slavery gone by had yielded fruit today;
'I have a dream! '
And 4th November 2008 had taken us through to fulfil this dream;

Every Living Thing Barring Mother Nature

They may be very famous people and leave their footprints in the sands of time
And their legends may live on for centuries and even outlive the poet's rhyme
But their fame won't live on forever though them the masses celebrate
For every living thing barring Mother Nature has on it set a time date.

Every living thing barring Mother Nature will eventually go into decay
And even from history's pages be lost and forgotten one day
Suppose that's what makes all things equal and whether we are buried or burn
Mother Nature is there to receive us and to her bosom we'll return.

All of my best years behind me and I've lived most of my time span
Less than two years short of sixty soon I will be an old man
Every day nearer the last day that is the end for us all
To us then it will not matter if the living our names won't recall.

Every living thing barring Mother Nature must bow to old father time
And though the achievements of some great people may outlive the great poet's rhyme
Their fame has on it a time date it has often been said before
That only herself Mother Nature will live on forever more.

Freelanced Delusions

Trite expressions exchanged,
Are as satisfying as scheduled rehearsals...
For an anticipated wedding,
That has no performance date to occur.

Or a sermon heard that is preached,
About the evils of sin.
And the evils of sin are taught to teach,
Over and over again.

A repetition done dawns on the listener,
With a purpose served...
That becomes less effective.
And affects discouragement.

Why can't folks just be upfront?
And be for real.
Instead of killing time...
To appeal to one's mind.

In the Dreamland Prime Minister goes to Parliament by his Wheelbarrow!

Idi Amin Dada, who became known as the 'Butcher of Uganda' for his brutal, despotic rule whilst president of Uganda in the 1970s, is possibly the most notorious of all Africa's post-independence dictators. Amin seized power in a military coup in 1971 and ruled over Uganda for 8 years. Estimates for the number of his opponents who were either killed, tortured, or imprisoned vary from 100,000 to half a million. He was ousted in 1979 by Ugandan nationalists, after which he fled into exile.

Date of birth: 1925, near Koboko, West Nile province, Uganda

Date of death: 16 August 2003, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

His name is Capitalist who wears a Socialist Top Hat!
And the Liberal Gaberdine suit underneath the Communist Red waiscoat.
The underwear is one hundred per cent cotton and never get nettle rash
Woven by a poor handloom human machine!
He speaks broken Suwahili and he climbs the steps to the Parliament in difficulty as nobody knows this sad thing,
One of his enlarged filarial testicle that comes out through the human netting underwear!
He loves the poor people and he never touches his big salary!

* A humble dedication to Idi Amin Dada!
