Laughter
Laughter
Mole-like token let it be bestowed on you
Laughter
Bell-like liquid an outpour light and blue
Laughter
The joyful cords in music born blessed throats
Laughter
The happy rowing in plenitude golden boats
Laughter
Running wild shaking bellies to dance
Laughter
Sweet disease swell infective trance
Laughter
The tongue tip peeping to mock the hands of time
Laughter
The gift of he’s she’s of you’re we’re or I’m
Laughter
The blissful eyes when joyful tears go down
Laughter
The king or queen carrying the highest crown

Love is barren with out memento
Many a script,
Many a gift,
Did I present to you.
You paid me nil.
Acceptance by you,
A forbidden soul,
Itself is the token
Of remittance.
However, I want
From you a memento
To show to others
Your love for me,
Without which
What is love worth?
Give me your fallen hair.
Give me your bitten nail.
Bharata was proud of
Rama’s love by his sandals.

The Truth of Woman
Woman's faith, and woman's trust -
Write the characters in the dust;
Stamp them on the running stream,
Print them on the moon's pale beam,
And each evanescent letter
Shall be clearer, firmer, better,
And more permanent, I ween,
Than the thing those letters mean.
I have strain'd the spider's thread
'Gainst the promise of a maid;
I have weigh'd a grain of sand
'Gainst her plight of heart and hand;
I told my true love of the token,
How her faith proved light, and her word was broken:
Again her word and truth she plight,
And I believed them again ere night.

Broken (work in progress)
falling into the sullen
gray slumber of
my broken dreams
to the off-key melody
of my broken guitar
echoing the sound
of my broken heart
i yearn for glue
with which to mend
my broken home
that shattered along
with the pink guitar
both, when whole,
held beautiful music
but now i have only
scars as my token
of a life that lies
in hell, alone and broken.

Rainy Skies
Listen to the soothing rain
Touch against the window pane
Steady drops are what I see
As if falling down on me
Torrent of rain so steady
Looking at clouds hang heavy
This rain to us is a pleasant sound
Cool water music splashing down
This rain looks like teardrops
We're wondering when it will stop
Safe, secure in my lover's arms am I
Cocooned in love like the dark sky
Watching the fire slowly burn
Enchanted lovers not wanting to turn
It's not just another rainy night
Cares and worries all take flight
No words need be spoken
For our love is not an empty token

An Old Song Ended
“How should I your true love know
From another one?”
“By his cockle-hat and staff
And his sandal-shoon.”
“And what signs have told you now
That he hastens home?”
“Lo! the spring is nearly gone,
He is nearly come.”
“For a token is there nought,
Say, that he should bring?”
“He will bear a ring I gave
And another ring.”
“How may I, when he shall ask,
Tell him who lies there?”
“Nay, but leave my face unveiled
And unbound my hair.”
“Can you say to me some word
I shall say to him?“
“Say I'm looking in his eyes
Though my eyes are dim.”

Awura Abena
'Awura Abena',
A Ghanaian girl;
'Awura Abena',
A Ghanaian lady;
'Awura Abena',
A Ghanaian woman;
'Awura Abena',
A female in my society;
But i am from 'Akim Swedru' and,
I have something for this world!
Because, my lovely muse is fully matured.
This is to you and beyond you,
But, launched officially! !
Because you want to know who i am;
All the same, this poem is for you all as well.
To share,
To divide,
This thought,
This same token;
And like a presidential candidate in your land,

My Poetry
It began from a simple word,
Of what the moon had seemingly spoken,
Or a bird’s song I once heard,
Or whispers of the wind of same token;
Then there were colors of the rainbow,
Sketched briefly below the sky blue,
And the clouds’ reflection to the sea,
Spread all their words in my poetry;
The sound of the roaring river,
The melting snow after winter,
The wind breeze in summer,
You hear them in my poetry,
But without the presence of spring,
Flowers blooming every morning,
If no trees, no mountains seen,
In my poetry, you’ll read nothing.

Time And Sentiment
I see a fair young couple in a wood,
And as they go, one bends to take a flower,
That so may be embalmed their happy hour,
And in another day, a kindred mood,
Haply together, or in solitude,
Recovered what the teeth of Time devour,
The joy, the bloom, and the illusive power,
Wherewith by their young blood they are endued
To move all enviable, framed in May,
And of an aspect sisterly with Truth:
Yet seek they with Time's laughing things to wed:
Who will be prompted on some pallid day
To lift the hueless flower and show that dead,
Even such, and by this token, is their youth.

terrorism ***** MRT and LRT RIZAL BOMBING
Zooming
roaring
coming
falling not from sky
humming like bees
rushing-hour
a city train, it's a metro rail transit
passing
rail road track
along EDSA
goes to and fro
escaping from traffic jam
curing headache commuters
quick halt
dropping
snatching token passengers
then buzzing
zooming falling not from sky
it is the city MRT rushing - hour city train
passing by malls, galleria, shrine
