Quotes about nasal, page 2
Dawn Roused
The night space is still slumbering
Its vast dark mouth wide open
Like a monster's black yawn
The higgledy-piggledy teeth twinkling out
Sickle-moon sneering at my lure
Rousing dawn's gusto by a quick cafe au lait
I rise before the sun rises
My modus-operandi to precede the sequel
4A.M a hush-hush wake up
Right in the kitchen for an invigorating coffee
Pea berry grounds put into the filter
Pressed gently, in poured the scalding water
Plop plop like the rain drop
In the receptacle decoction dripping
Eying around readily boil milk
An esoteric mix of my secret coffee ready
Sip and swig the frothy java

Edge of a dream
Soft hum dissolves into hypnotised air;
That surrounds the sleeping angel.
Sweetened breaths travel the nasal freeway;
As the hum transforms into silent beats.
A night annouces its arrival somewhere;
As the dark is chased away by a divine lamp.
Tender steps begin an unknown journey;
Through the well lit streets of heart.
A fountain breaks free to kiss the air;
Gleaming droplets smile in unseen cradle.
New found thoughts travel up; the heart
begins to dance on rhythm of the beats.
Thoughts cascade, patches of green appear; mind travels faster than light, closed eyes visualize what life can't bestow. Cracked window frame and creaking bed await as always.

Drop of Black
a colourless world
nearly blinded me
until i find the beauty
of rainbow and flowers
that the little red ball,
yellow dash between
the indians' eyes
is the seat of god
close your eyes
you find a ring of flame
at the strategic realm
of sacredness
that only through the black
you get that steely
nasal jazzy tone
that psyches you up

Plastic nation
My plastic nation
This new generation
The Botox impression
Cosmo mutilation
Body alteration
Divine rejection
He wants a brow lift
A nasal implant
She wants a tummy tuck
And enhance her buttock
A little cut from here
A little from there
Identity is lost
In their perfect figure
My silicon nation
Cosmo liposuction
Breast augmentation
Transmutation

Jaguar
Nasal intonations of light
and clicking tongues…
publicity of windows
stoning me with pent-up cries…
smells of abattoirs…
smells of long-dead meat.
Some day-end—
while the sand is yet cozy as a blanket
off the warm body of a squaw,
and the jaguars are out to kill…
with a blue-black night coming on
and a painted cloud
stalking the first star—
I shall go alone into the Silence…
the coiled Silence…
where a cry can run only a little way
and waver and dwindle
and be lost.

Monologues
JAGUAR
Nasal intonations of light and clicking tongues… publicity of windows stoning me with pent-up cries… smells of abattoirs… smells of long-dead meat.
Some day-end— while the sand is yet cozy as a blanket off the warm body of a squaw, and the jaguars are out to kill… with a blue-black night coming on and a painted cloud stalking the first star— I shall go alone into the Silence… the coiled Silence… where a cry can run only a little way and waver and dwindle and be lost.
And there…
where tiny antlers clinch and strain
as life grapples in a million avid points,
and threshing things
strike and die,
letting their hate live on
in the spreading purple of a wound…
I too
will make covert of a crevice in the night,
and turn and watch…
nose at the cleft's edge.

Staring At You
We sound the same
I mimicked you for twelve years
Like a mynah bird
Your choice of words
Your accent
Nasal like the American guest professor
of ateneo de manila university
To a certain point
I wanted to be like you.
One night I went out
Of my body
Like a wind
I went into you as you breathe
For air
I took the tours
In your mind and detours in your heart
And even in the sensitive

A guest of Her Majesty for Friend Thad
Brunhilde Bloggs no fixed address.
Was very fond of cheap red wine.
Somewhat disordered in her dress.
Her voice a grating nasal whine.
She begs for cash from passersby.
Her manner almost threatening.
Her raging thirst to satisfy
at each refusal glowering.
A policeman tells her “move along”
and she reacts aggressively
Insists she has done nothing wrong.
But he has little sympathy
He has no choice but to arrest
and take her into custody.
She has become a public pest.
Which no one is allowed to be

Gentle Wind
Some children played happily in a tree
and one of them was dangling
from a branch, precariously -
but, with the faith and agility
of Youth.
A young man, no older than 23,
pulled up
on a rumbling Harley; Alpha and Insecure;
-
The driveway rocks crunched
like a bunch of ice cubes
under the big bike's tires
Bird silhouettes perched
up on telephone wires
-Innocence is to be revered
and admired
