Quotes about nuance, page 2

At the Café Door

Something they said beside me
made me look toward the café door,
and I saw that lovely body which seemed
as though Eros in his mastery had fashioned it,
joyfully shaping its well-formed limbs,
molding its tall build,
shaping its face tenderly,
and leaving, with a touch of the fingers,
a particular nuance on the brow, the eyes, the lips.

Ragged and Wise.

I Looked into my garden,
At the bluebells.
And thought of a wood,
Far away and long ago.
I could never return to (anymore) .
Ragged and wise.
I never, ever saw your lies.
Why is love so unwise?
I`ve loved my garden,
It`s every new growth and nuance.
But never as much as
I longed for
Your smiling eyes.
Once more,
Ragged and unwise.

July

Girls walk slowly
In the sunshine,
And an old man
Is arranging flowers
At the floral shop.

My best friend Luna
Has on a yellow skirt
And smiles sweetly
At the cops.

I never want
July to end,
Everything is exciting
And unimaginably hot.

The stars will dance
When the sun is not
Any longer in the sky.

Beside the Raging River Rhyme

Beside the raging river rhyme
poetry florets flower with prose.
Scripted sweet petals grow and entwine
English gardens of fragrant rose.

Immortalized in pantomime,
the sonnet's nuance smell,
intertwines with ivy vines
and comely cockleshell.

Flowing water of endless words
gather and come hither.
Make known your message meaningful
before the blossoms wither.

Omens...?

Beauty was her calling card-once
A sacrificial lamb of peace-
Alas, she burned her life-as a candle
In days of pain without cease;
Her hopeless world of-make-believe
Where inner perfection struggled to grow
A nuance of yet another shade-fading
Took away her effluent Fire-fly glow;
Near the honey suckles the tambourines played
A most disquieting melody
For the morning trespassed upon her world
Boding her happiness-never to be;

Freedom of Speech?

You can't say that.
It's not politically correct.
If you say that you may offend...
and you will stand accused
of Anti Feminism, Anti Semitism,
Anti Americanism.

The media's gone mad.
Judging every word, every nuance,
letting one little word, 'stupidly'
overshadow the real issue.
Not even the President can
say what he really thinks.

Does anyone remember
Freedom of Speech?
You can say what you believe,
even when we disagree,
it's O.K with me.
I won't call you Anti.

As the wind caresses me through the w indow...

Delighted
The hoarse voiced crows
Caw caw as a veil of grey-black
Stealthily spreads on hills and the sea
Surprisingly the cawing sounds music
To the dry ears longing to hear
The tip tap of raindrops on the earth
The roar of thunder is music pr excellence
As the heart cocks its ears to absorb
Each and every nuance
The dragon flies dance in maniac rhythm
Their wings pitted against the erratic winds

Somewhere within my niche
Something stirs to life…

The Lover's Chronicles (Part Three)

holding autumn's leaf in your hands,
early December... all passion's colors
have melted, into brown in time grown
brittle...
and so i hold your hand, without grasping
so hard as if to lose, yet knowing your
hand... every nuance, every mile, every
destiny come and gone... feeling every
trace of living as if a prayer...
listening to your hand as if to a hymn...
your hand and mine, we rock... the wind blows
in perfect rhythm, we wait... for a time,
and a time, with no need to hurry!

Creations of Sunsets In Autumn

Have y'u ever watched th' pour of an Autumn Sunset
into th' netherscape of a western skies body of water,
and if so, did y'u see it.......capture it in your eye-shot

gold over dusk transforming to crimson, as hues bled
in variable nuance, 'til afternoons Sun empties its last
breath, by th' even'tide breeze of th' crisp Autumn air.

I have, an' the experience was resplendent as spotlight
on sea-glass, re-enforcing potentate of science, nature-
and all they created: After God finished creating them.

Paradigms of an ocean

The paradigms of the ocean
Dissolve in your eyes

I look away
But my eyes keep returning
To yours
And when they meet
At the fringes
Of the eternal ocean
I drown in a bubble
On the foam
On the shore

Perhaps the time has come
For another ocean

I shake off the drops
But the water clings
To me
And every nuance of skin
