Quotes about nuance, page 3
The music of one’s love is deaf and dumb
Curiously I once heard music
where there was none
this I perceived when
-two deaf and dumb,
young lovers were caught-up
in an all-embracing kiss.
After which they spoke in sign,
by so much implicit recollection-that
I myself; could clearly, understand
each phrase of intangible air
each semaphore!
Each nuance of elicit breath;
and whilst I silently stood, there…
I swear I saw their beauty
prelude in an almost; atmospheric light!
And oh, I'm sure the aurora-borealis
invoked my hearts delight!
To see that the music of one's
love is deaf and dumb,
but never is it blind

Give Me More
Do me a favor?
Do not flavor your speech,
With flowered outreach touches.
Get to the core of it!
Do not decide,
What is suitable or fit for me.
I am on you like radar.
Detecting your every nuance.
And if substance is there...
I will provide you with mine.
With more to share.
I am not the kind to window dress,
Just to attract attention.
Or to confess a collection of nonsense...
To profess.
Unless...
We are both together,
Sharing dreams to be completed.
Free of deceptions unneeded.

Freak
There is more than just a'little'
Freak in me.
And I ain't trying to hide none of it,
For rumors or gossip mongers...
To whisper behind my back,
To feel my character they can attack!
I want it known!
Yes I do.
Every dropp of freak you see...
Has been perfected and rehearsed,
With every nuance of it complete.
So if I am not as 'freaky'...
As the freak I choose to be?
I am still a work in progress.
And my freakness will not rest...
Until it's the freshest freakness you can get!
And on 'that'...
You can bet!

Chains On My Love
Naïve love, its mystery pure and absolute
Nurture me through the doubt in your eyes
I surrender to its pristine beauty and form
Forging my world on an unsung hope
When nights lie back to bask in our rendezvous
Your tenderness whispers its own destiny
Your confusion at the sweet tug of love
Smothers me with all its old hidden truths
Paint my love in every callow hue
Coat every nuance, captive to trust
Dark veils of promises settle undone
Wings on fears at love unfolding
A love that's a forbidden enigma to us
Watch you tread heavy steps back to your world
And I shy away from the hurt and our reality
As you glaze over to the world that owns you...

A New Star Was Born
The infinity of that blue,
Which is the color of your eyes,
Met the infinity of that brown,
Which is the color of my eyes,
Making us to wish
Our time to conceive a new nuance of life,
At the limit between
Our finiteness and our infiniteness.
A new star was born
In the spaceless infinity
Of the Universe
To touch our eternal love
With its rays.
On the internal walls of our temple,
God wrote a new name.
We understood
That we are forgiven.
The silence and the serenity
Fulfilled our spiritual altar.
In front of His eyes,

Gradual Clearing
Late in the day the fog
wrung itself out like a sponge
in glades of rain,
sieving the half-invisible
cove with speartips;
then, in a lifting
of wisps and scarves, of smoke-rings
from about the islands, disclosing
what had been wavering
fishnet plissé as a smoothness
of peau-de-soie or just-ironed
percale, with a tatting
of foam out where the rocks are,
the sheened no-color of it,
the bandings of platinum
and magnesium suffusing,
minute by minute, with clandestine
rose and violet, with opaline
nuance of milkweed, a texture
not to be spoken of above a whisper,

Delivered By Expressing Agitation
I'd be very suspicious,
If you liked everything I presented.
If you accepted everything given,
Without a mention of an honest point of view...
From you?
I would wonder why.
Not that I would try anything differently.
But I just might make attempts,
To raise some contemptment I may resent.
Like a child seeking attention.
To receive a response.
Or some nuance to trigger,
Another emotion to test one's undivided...
Devotion.
You know...
An understated kind of praise?
But delivered by expressing agitation!
An attitude accepted.
Especially from one who has grown bored and tired,
Of my greatness.

Too Real
While you were away,
It was difficult to stay completely without you...
Here on my mind all the time.
And how it is I could not remain real.
You are not to be substituted.
Nothing about you can be diluted to delude.
While you were away,
It was harder to say whatever you did...
Was not noticeably missed.
It was.
Every contributing nuance and piece of it,
Came to life to be revealed.
And...
You have the keys to unlock and open,
The excitement felt in my heart.
And...
You more than can show,
Why I have adored you from the very start.

Beauty In Nature
Theres a poem in every flower,
a sonnet in every tree,
a tale in every lifetime
its just for you to see...
theres a lyric in every brook
as it rushes over rocks,
theres an ode in every nuance,
as loves wonder unlocks,
theres rhythm in every sound,
every beating of a heart,
theres poetry in every union
and every couple who are apart
and just as there is wonder
in every new life created
there is sadness and regret,
for the unsaid and unfeted

A Fire-Truck
Right down the shocked street with a
siren-blast
That sends all else skittering to the
curb,
Redness, brass, ladders and hats hurl
past,
Blurring to sheer verb,
Shift at the corner into uproarious gear
And make it around the turn in a squall
of traction,
The headlong bell maintaining sure and
clear,
Thought is degraded action!
Beautiful, heavy, unweary, loud,
obvious thing!
I stand here purged of nuance, my
mind a blank.
All I was brooding upon has taken
