Quotes about squeaks, page 2

Alone!

The rooster crows early morning,
But waltz in the afternoon, spreading,
One wing to the submissive not clucking hen,
The hungry crows arrive with kith and kin,
With ear piercing cawing just to scavenge,
The grasshoppers, beetles and the birds chirp for free,
Hamster squeaks playing with the mate,
Squirrels squeak running for the food,
The dogs bark threatening every dude,
Occasional humming from the hummingbirds,
Still I feel alone in the safety of my home.

The Men Of Her Life

a hundred or some
men of her life
coming and getting
out of her mind

names of men
yet not one of their lips
and tongues and hands
or a finger
has taken hold
of her single nipple

the evenings
are figments of her
imagination
the bed has not
sounded
the squeaks
the moans
never, the legs

Mouse Trap

Little mice running all around looking for a bite to eat.
Claw each other, hiss angrily, beg with squeaks, and listen to your small fading heartbeat.
Blind, blind, silly little mice. Smell the food, it's plentiful in the distance, within the real world.
However, you stayed put as the mouse trap was built, all around you.
Content with the meager meals they threw to you.
Now, watch your families starve. See the laughing venomous head of the snake, as it eats you one by one…until you're all gone.

Silver Wolf

The moon shone down
On an unsuspecting forest
Filled with chatters and squeaks
There was noise all around
Nobody sensed what was to come

Then there came an hour
When through the forest
Stalked the Silver Wolf
Product of a diseased imagination

Dangerously, silently
Scythe like claws bit the ground
Gleaming fangs hung dangerously
From a curled and sneering jaw

With great silver strides
The wolf covered ground
While all creatures around
Fell still

When She Makes Love With Him

when she makes love with him
she always takes a good look at the ceiling
as though she and the ceiling are in love
at the height of his muscular frenzy
feasting on her flesh
she is asking help from her imagination

she is not in love anymore
she detests this obligation

the walls are wordless of course
and the bed squeaks in pity

when he is finished she turns her body to the other side.
death whispers its name. Death is too inviting.

she travels far into the distant fantasy land of her imagination.
her prince is now waiting in the castle of her dreams.

Madam and The Rent Man

The rent man knocked.
He said, Howdy-do?
I said, What
Can I do for you?
He said, You know
Your rent is due.

I said, Listen,
Before I'd pay
I'd go to Hades
And rot away!

The sink is broke,
The water don't run,
And you ain't done a thing
You promised to've done.

Back window's cracked,
Kitchen floor squeaks,
There's rats in the cellar,

Yesteryears

The rocking chair squeaks,
as it rocks to and fro.
An old man is dreaming,
of yesterdays many years ago.
He dreams of the woman,
who’d one day be his wife.
He sees how things used to be,
when he was a lad.
Reflects on the changes,
that have come and gone.
The peace and the quiet,
shattered by the society of busy feet.
The countryside that disappears,
at an alarming rate,
as developers seal each acres fate.
Gone is the fresh air,
everyone one used to breath.
Now clogged with fumes,
of petrol and diesel.
Oh, yesteryears,

Remember That When I Fondle Your Breasts

There is nothing but mystery
Around every fleeting kiss
As we crawl on the beach
After prowling all night like cats,
I wish we were entwined on a city roof
Completely naked in the moonlight,
I’m not satisfied with anemic dreams
Or love making that utters quiet squeaks,
I’ve made offerings to Aphrodite,
Remember that when I fondle your breasts,
Our hearts are tangled in a sensual web,
There is water from soft lakes on your skin,
I’m going to dive into your soul and swim,
Let this relationship blossom into poetic myth,
Let future scholars interpret it,
Every lesson of illicit love will spring from our book.

Refugee Rodent (A Mouse of Colour)

A mouse has moved in under my bed
A refugee rodent looking to be fed.

He has no religion, he has done no sin
Only soft sounds scurrying in the bin.

And I have tried to discourage it away
But no, it just seems to want to stay.

He gives no squeaks nor chants nor cries
Just silently stares with deep dark eyes.

He is rather cute like a brown furry ball
That slip slides across the tiled floor.

He likes to explore on top of the fridge
And swing along the TV cord bridge.

If he was white, he would have been a pet
A legal resident of my bedroom set,

The Long Way Home

Tiny squeaks from the snow
As if I’d stepped
upon a mouse

The temperature hovers at zero
A walk sounded nice…
Before I left the house

I gave it thought
For about a moment
Trying to decide…yes or no

But a long look
out the window
made me bundle up and go

The bare limbs and sere winds
Beckoned me deep
into the woods
