Quotes about squeaks

Me And My Old Cat Sam

I sit here all alone well

Me and my old cat Sam

Rocking back and fro

As my

Chair squeaks

As I rock

In front of the old fireplace

Just me and my old cat
Sam

Knitting mittens

Singing while my cat sam takes

The Hungry Squirrel

It is the winter of 2001;
’Tis raining cats and dogs;
A hungry squirrel madly runs,
In frantic search of food!

It can’t control its hunger pangs;
The weather’s damp and cold;
There is no sign of any food;
How can it remain warm?

The guava-fruits have disappeared;
Papayas are unripe;
The Pea-fowls guard the Palmyras;
There are no wild berries.

The squirrel squeaks quite endlessly;
Its warmth is running out;
Perhaps, it thinks of grandpa-days,
Of juicy fruits and nuts.

Home, Sweet Home

HOME, SWEET HOME

The rusty radiator leaks,
paint peals in sodden streaks,
sharp mouse, beneath bleak floorboards, squeaks,
the end result just reeks!

Warped window panes, if not antiques,
are holey, front door creaks,
we’re far too far from chic boutiques,
unknown are arab sheiks.

The port side neighbour seldom speaks
to cliques to starboard, piques
between old hippies and poor geeks
seem standard stress techniques.

Their frequent quarrels rise to shrieks,
as each one 'justice seeks'.
I haven't lived here many weeks,

Squeaky Armour

Shoes with whistle, I still remember,
Guarded my feet like a squeaking armour;
Every step applauds with squeaks,
And showered kisses on the cheeks.

On A Bird

A sweet-voiced bird's been caught.
They squeeze it in a vice-like grip.
The poor thing squeaks and warbles not
But they insist: "O, birdie, sing!"

Liberation

Slipped in through window
Pokes herself in the mirror
A sparrow at home

She circles in mirth
Round the running fan gleeful
Hit..! ! falls on the floor

A while in weak squeaks
Out through way back flaps escape
Fanning Hades fades out

Two People In Love Inside A Room

when he is in love
no door is strong to be opened
both are in love
and so the door is left open
throughout the night
the bed squeaks
the curtains dance
the floors are listening
as words from hungry mouths
flow like cats and dogs....

A squirrel squeals...! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

On a hot noon
In mid June,
A squirrel
Races down a black
Iron pipe
Wagging her tail,

Full of energy
Squeaks
In delight,
Her ears alert
Nodding her
Head from side to side.

I watch
From my window
Lying on a soft bed,
In an air conditioned room
Feeling frail,
Just as power fluctuates...
