I Remeber
'All my life,
I've been searching,
until that day when,
I met you.'
These words seem foolish,
to me now,
just looking back,
I fell for that? !
What did I know,
nothing I suppose,
for now I see,
you never meant a word.
I hope one day,
I can look back,
and understand why,
you did what you did.

Two Thousand Years Later
I am over 2000 years old, and I am still honored today
People still call me as they kneel down to pray.
I have not changed in all that time
I can still cure the sick, the lame, the blind.
Faith can go a very long way, and I will listen when you pray.
When you think that the devils got a hold on you
I’ll be there, I know just what to do.
Everyone has a destiny that they must fulfill
It is in the masters book, it is GODS will.
Every life must touch another for us to be whole
It’s part of our destinies, and part of our goal.
We all have a cross that we must bear
But with my father I was able to share.
He gave me the strength that I needed most
It came from THE FATHER, THE SON, THE HOLY GHOST.
I spread the words that he had given to me
And it has lasted thru this eternity.

One aspect
Don’t forget one aspect
Life is precious and needs respect
If you are carried away by negative thoughts
Life mission will be defeated without being fought
'
Life is to feel all about
It may have rain and draught
Bright sun shine and dark clouds
Your voice should be heard clear and loud
There may be pain and sorrow
It may not remain tomorrow
See the wind’s direction and lie low
Find the trend and secretly follow
Life may prove difficult
Once you bend, it will be just insult
Raise your head in resistance
It may give the way at once

My Curse
Sorry for my existence
I'm sorry for my presence
Sorry that I'm a coward
I sent your life quite backwards
Sorry for my pair of eyes
Those two always tell lies
Pardon me dear for my pretense
I'll make it up once life returns
Sorry for that one last touch
Lord knows I'm sorry for the rush

Anecdote of a coin
I placed a coin
upon a railway track
while training at Klipdrift army camp
to go to war.
The coin was flattened
and stretched two centimetres long
and pressed upon
the image of the track.
More trains passed day and night
and the coin remained
as part of that rail.
It never would transform back
to a round and shiny thing
and have the capacity
to buy anything.
I was transformed from boy

Special Memories
My memories are special for they leave a good feeling for me
Some just a day, a sight, a voice, an experience; you see.
They have made my life bountiful and beautiful and ever so much more
A singular memory to display an earthly journey with each an open door.
Just one memory could elicit a dialogue of meaning and feeling
To open up my humanity for a full life that was revealing.
So much has been given to us as part of our earthly treasure
The spiritual and the material; and most importanly, also nature.
Important things about life in my memory and all the rest
Seperate from our being and are the very best.
Most of these things took but a minute and others more than a day
Some like love have lasted a lifetime; along memories way.
That which caused fear, pain, sorrow or regret
To find their own repose or disappear; which would be best? .
I can withdrawn from my memory to view and savor
Very first love; and my best ice cream flavor.

To Con Kelleher Of Aubane
One of the founder members of the Aubane Gaelic Football Team
And for them to win a Duhallow Championship had always been his dream
And though Aubane never won Duhallow and their Football Club no more
I still can visualize Con Kelleher cheering when their forwards broke to score.
I still see him on the side line and he urging Aubane on
As the Aubane men struggled bravely just to win this one for Con
And though his great dream died with him for dreams seldom come true
May he rest in peace Con Kelleher Aubane's truest of the true.
Along with Johnny Big Jack and Jimmy Mickey and Jimmy Buckley too
And Dan Twomey, Jackie Lane and Sonny Buckley some of the fellows who
Gave to Aubane a Gaelic Football Club in sixty four or five
Though such small clubs in rural Ireland quite unlikely to survive.
Con Kelleher's son Denis resurrected Aubane but it was a flickering flame
For they only lasted one or two years and they never won a game,
The curse of emigration of Aubane had taken toll
And the place without young people a place with an ageing soul.

A Ballad of a Drum
The Austrians at Arcola
(The fight had lasted long),
The Austrians at Arcola—
Some fifty thousand strong—
Assailed the bridge whereto the French
(A fourth their strength) had come,.[1]
With menace dire, and murderous fire;
Then fled before a drum!
For Estienne at Arcola—
Heroic little lad!—
Seeing the carnage on the bridge,
With soul grown sick and sad,
Had sworn that he, at least, would pass
Beyond the sanguine tide,
And beat his drum, whate'er should come,
Upon the farther side.
So Estienne at Arcola—
No fear had he to die!—

The Bridge To Love
Across the bridge there was a girl
I used to watch each day.
She sat alone and never looked,
never glanced my way.
Her beauty was a rare delight
I did not want to miss.
And so I sat and imagined
that we two could kiss.
But lacking courage to approach
I held back and I viewed
that at the same hour every day
something would change her mood.
A woman came to help her stand
and led her from the bridge.
She seemed unhappy as she left
surrounded by green foliage.

Thanks love
Thanks my belle,
For you time-honored my proposal on the 11th august.
You never judged me.
With all I encompass,
With all I don’t.
The grin you put on your visage,
When times seemed mope.
Know from at this instant,
You are heroic.
You are all what a man desires.
Rocks build up mountains,
Irons build a very brave construction,
A very piece of soil holds the globe,
Man build a inhabitants, and
You, you fabricate love,
You assemble a man,
You portray a smile on my face.
Thanks love.
