Her venue; The veranda

She promised him to recite the one line poem since a long time
At last she said; 'I love you.'
But he said; ' Sorry, I have already engaged with your widowed sister.'
The poor poetess swallowed the bitter pill under the roofed terrace.

I See the Cross

Slowly awake like a soft spring
Your love nudges
I see the ruins of heresy
I see intellectualism fails
I see secular politics a dead end
The world is a noose
The culture unredeemable
I recite the serenity prayer
Fall asleep with 'Our Father..

I see the Cross

A Puritan's purpose

A President can be a puritan.
A righteous or a rigid.
May he recite Rig-Veda
to a Ring-Leader?
But a sad thing is in a stalemate.
Why a Giant wants a sudden castration?

*Those who wants a war never go to the frontier
and who dies in a war one day a curse to the whole humanity.

There to Rhyme

He's a corporate leecher.
Disguised as a preacher.
There to rhyme with poetic lines...
To define a satisfied ego!
Aging an outdated purpose.
As he masks his flight to recite,
Prose of those poor and burdened.
Upon the irreplaceable wings of a true giant,
He seeks to feed a dimishing spotlight.

Heart's History

Heart's History

There I rest
A posing posture sit
Empty glass of wine at best
Candle burnt down to the wick

Worn upon my sleeve
Measures of emotions
Loud clamour cleave
Deep as the ocean

Read these lines and scatter rhymes
upon the grounds of summer nights
Bleeding heart that intertwines
Tis history I recite

Prayers

I recite my prayers to God Almighty
These sorrow and fear are causing me to cry
I fear for my dreams
Aside from falling apart
I know I am weak
But the blood runs through my veins
Same blood that flows
From our Lord Jesus Christ
Says I'll never have wet eyes again
For tomorrow I'll be strong as I now speak
The prayers are my gateway to salvation.

Casabianca

Love's the boy stood on the burning deck
trying to recite `The boy stood on
the burning deck.' Love's the son
stood stammering elocution
while the poor ship in flames went down.

Love's the obstinate boy, the ship,
even the swimming sailors, who
would like a schoolroom platform, too,
or an excuse to stay
on deck. And love's the burning boy.

Depictive Passages

Each day...
Presents its own uniqueness.
Each day...
Different from the last.

And with imaginations grasped...
Somewhere, someone sees it fit,
To describe their experiences...
In depictive passages.
Deciding to recite or to write,
As each day lived passes them by.

Each day...
Presents its own uniqueness.
Each day...
Different from the last.

We Name

We name and keep listening
To the heavenly voices
Which collide with the words
I recite from old books and new.

We kept on searching for the reason,
As much as the only one,
It gave an answer to our speech,
Of a knowing station.

We all listen to the blind and deaf,
As we are both of them,
As well as human can help,
But why do you see more?

On Your Throne

at the rest room
you sit on your throne
you make a poem
and recite it
as you excrete
what has been bothering
your mind
things arrive at something
that becomes over
and then the relief
that you are still alive
reigns
perhaps only for a while
but it is a moment
of glory
that you keep in your hand
and then surrender
without much qualm
and damn
