Quotes about snakes, page 4
Who will save who?
Worms to toads, toads to snakes,
Snakes to pigs, pigs to men
And men to worms are food.
A concatenated food chain.
Lilly loves Peter; Peter loves July;
July loves John; John loves Lilly.
A concatenated love chain.

Snakes and cows
Foxes are cheats;
Snakes are venom;
Lions are cruel.
Are they all meant,
For that, to go to hell?
Cows are pious;
Deer are harmless;
Dogs are loyal.
Are they all meant,
For that, to go to heaven?
Some are by nature like snakes
And some are like cows.

Size 39
White snakes and black snakes,
I am walking along the narrow path with shoe-size 39;
But the youths of today have shaken up North Africa! !
And like the little red box hidden in the bush.
You won my own car and i am now walking alone,
But there is light in this hidden little red box!
And, i have to watch my steps in looking for it.

Eaten By A Python
looking for a way out,
i slept right next to a snake,
i didnt see it coming,
i see it didn't wait,
i was camping near a tree,
i was in a sleeping bag,
how dumb i was to be right there,
it was the snakes feeding time,
stuck in the snakes gut,
i cant find a way out,
now i know my mistake,
i never should have slept near the snake.

True Friends? ? ?
the snake slithers around
sneaky not to make a sound
slowly creeps upon his prey
attacks then runs away
beware of him he bites
and does it within his rights
he might be pretty to look at
but truly he's ugly lot
the snake will smother
even kill his own mother
snakes are full of greed
upon your soul he will feed
the snake is a self-adoring creature
humility is not a feature
snakes are everywhere

Villains(Rondel)
Lot lots are villains surrounding
Like dust that helps mites to build mounds
Get housed snakes but there in mites'mounds
Dust and snakes no doubt surrounding
But they are rare seen surrounding
Not in huge swarms like mosquitoes
Lot lots are villains surrounding
'Bite and suck' their manifestoes
These are just few picks surrounding
Lot more in the guise of servants
Be it loam or home, those servants
Cheat, beat, loot to grab anything
Lot lots are villains surrounding

Notes From Mambukal
i am learning
from the towering trees
i have seen the right of birds
to have a home
the co-existence of bats and
snakes
the essence of ripe fruits
that must remain on the ground
until they are rotten
when birds leave the seeds
after consuming all pulp
and flesh
the songs of birds
love calls
the hisses of snakes

You Must Dropp The Seed
i am the field, plowed fertile field
near the river
some dogs are buried within me
some snakes live here
i know their wishes and desire
somehow i wait for you as the rain
and you as the sower
of the seeds
pour some sweat of your brow
and let your arms swing
let the seeds
fall
that is all i want
that is all that i am waiting for
just dropp the seed
and i will let them grow
then you can leave

Imagining The Protest Of The Snake That They Killed Yesterday...
if only the snake had a good tongue
and fairly a good speech training,
the one that they killed yesterday
for having invaded the fence of their
territory
snakes are not allowed to roam here
and catch for mice
or frogs,
it could have said, ' i have nowhere to stay,
and i have no food out there'
the bamboo groves had been uprooted by you
our holes are covered with cement
the bushes are burned
the caves have been turned as tourist attractions
we are snakes
we too have rights
for food and shelter
and i did not come to bite your children
i only come

I am a snake
i have taken
lessons from snakes
and learnt wisdom
to morph from
an old wearied woman
to a fine spinster
everybody would turn
their heads as i beat out a dance
slithering my way to their hearts
without even their knowledge
i have taken lessons in life
from the snakes
the devil reincarnated though
all the fraggled parts of my life
the wrinkled skin of my soul
i follow the snake as it
morphs from old to young
and young to old
and old to young again
living a hundred years
