The Land Of Pallas
Methought I journeyed along ways that led for ever
Throughout a happy land where strife and care were dead,
And life went by me flowing like a placid river
Past sandy eyots where the shifting shoals make head.
A land where beauty dwelt supreme, and right, the donor
Of peaceful days; a land of equal gifts and deeds,
Of limitless fair fields and plenty had with honour;
A land of kindly tillage and untroubled meads,
Of gardens, and great fields, and dreaming rose-wreathed alleys,
Wherein at dawn and dusk the vesper sparrows sang;
Of cities set far off on hills down vista'd valleys,
And floods so vast and old, men wist not whence they sprang,
Of groves, and forest depths, and fountains softly welling,
And roads that ran soft-shadowed past the open doors,
Of mighty palaces and many a lofty dwelling,
Where all men entered and no master trod their floors.

Sometimes
pressure fried the coldest head
bent to the side, wishing he was dead
and i would still defend
i would still defend
i'll give up on it all
i'll give up on the greed
i'll give up on the ones
who'll give up on me
held up by the poor somewhere
they're unaware, but i know we are scared
if i was to give in
the fight would soon begin
begin
so i'll give up on it all
i'll give up on the greed
i'll give up on the ones
who'll give up on me
sometimes
the sun shines
sunshine

Controlling my feelings for too long
Controlling my feelings for too long
Controlling my feelings for too long
Controlling my feelings for too long
Forcing our darkest souls to unfold
And forcing our darkest souls to unfold
Pushing us into self destruction
Pushing us into self destruction
And they make me
Make me dream your dreams
And they make me
Make me scream your screams
Trying to please you for too long
Trying to please you for too long
Visions of greed you wallow
Visions of greed you wallow
Visions of greed you wallow
Visions of greed you wallow

Greeds
What do you have at your home?
Nothing, except some desires and greed
To sooth and comfort you.
Greed enters your home very silently
Finally it becomes your master
And you become slave of your own greed
Oneday it will drag you to an unknown grave.

Beget, Regret, Disloyal Sway...
Beget, regret disloyal sway...
Beyond all greed, of greed, this day.
Manly greed, stings all men...
Be this one, the one's, all sin.
How frozen, be man's left, unpardoned, guilt...
Of all the men, and woman's, blood, spilt.
Delay, the guilt, leased life...
Pray up to God, for less strife.

What Made The Success Of The Swindler?
in the last analysis
it was not his gullibility
because it could have been so well learned
and the swindling avoided
as early as possible,
frankly speaking
it was his greed, and nothing but his greed,
which made the
swindlers have the last laugh
greed allows
everyone to come and
take everything
everything

Greed Counts Currency
Greed counts currency
While sheer Poverty cries,
With mocking mirth and glee
And a twinkling of the eye.
Greed counts currency
While a Nation slowly dies
Calloused Shame is empty
As Fear closed Freedom's eyes.
Greed counts currency
As in Anger a people cry
The Lust for Power may see
Them give Revolution a try.

Vices to be Wiped out
You will be beset by ire
when you rent your mind to greed.
Pride will push you into mire
so to wise counsels pay heed.
Cremate your envy on pyre
and be honest in your deeds.
You will be beset by ire
when you rent your mind to greed.
Nothing will make you to tire
if you're off from lustful weed.
Do humans more advice need?
You will be beset by ire
when you rent your mind to greed.

Mahaveer preaches
Anger, Pride, Deceit and Greed
Are the four flaws you denounce,
Said the saint Mahaveer,600 B.C.
Anger spurts when pride is at stake.
Pride reacts when deceit steps in.
Deceit lurks as greed sets in.
Greed is born of insecurity.
Faith in you can remove it.
Faith in God also removes it.
You can live serene, rich or poor.

Greed And Money
I believe that wanting money is needed.
I do not believe that wanting money is greed,
What I believe is greed; is the overwhelming need
of having more money, then needed.
It takes money to remain in existence.
Listen wanting money is not greed.
And theirs no danger
In giving money to a hungry stranger.
This is the danger: exceeding you needs
And letting the fellow that pleads go hungry.
So next time you see a beggar pleading don’t yonder,
And don’t let him wait any longer
