Quotes about paced, page 5
Roads Unclear But Taken
Sometimes the fog can be thick,
Maneuvering through days uncertain!
Stalled within tunnels
Dark and long!
Enduring with a strength...
Accompanied by tears at times.
And suddenly intuition pulls.
The many roads unclear but taken
Narrow...
Shadows are behind as light spreads!
Sighs of relief exhaled.
A clearing comes,
As steps are faster paced.
Warming a smiling face that glows.

The Furlough Is Done
I tarried amongst
the mediocre and superficial
hoping to thaw in the farce,
but there was no glory nor grace
in sedating with injectable faith
Now I paced into the carnage
with svelte gentle legs
because no matter how the splinters break
this fervor to burn cannot be staid
The furlough is done
and all is purged in the abeyance,
empty handed, I left everything behind
as I approach what's in front of me
with an undaunted loaded gun

The Poem Came
The poem came on a rainy day
And hid behind a curtain
It said 'Go away! I have something to say'
But of this I am uncertain
The poem wept and the poem cried
All night it paced the floor
Unable to smile or to rest a while
It collapsed in a heap on the floor
Lacking in verse
And lacking in rhyme

At magnolia dale
We walked laughing over the grass
while the dogs were running loose
and Kyla was swimming in the cool water.
On the riverbank Tinkie
sniffed on a few white flowers
and Jeanie walked from tree to tree
while Sasja barked at everybody around her
and rather silly followed Kyla splashing into the water
where like a lady Flippie paced off her steps.
Only Gator had to be kept on a leash
as he was like always out of control
and nobody could teach him any manners.

A Stranger in the City
He does an incredible feat
While the world moves meaningless
Abandoned on the street
Roams the man with the dirty face!
A cruel fast-paced heartless city
Where nobody has time for him
None tells him a word of pity
The nights fade the days dim.
Yet unmindful of all
The ragged holds his head high
He still can walk tall
Without a hint of sigh!
The odd man out in the city
An animal, a mad scavenger
He needs no words of pity
He's happy to remain a stranger.

Danger paced...
Are they viewing life,
From limitations of race!
Made important by those hating.
Erasing themselves like insects,
On a death binge.
With beliefs that increase fear,
And implusive actions to eliminate
God's creations.
Retaliation comes from the heavens.
This experiment called Earth...
Is not working!
They come to make adjustments.
A cleansing of impurities are faced.
Alterations to thoughts made...
Come to upgrade and improve upon our evolution!

Missed You
Every time I close my eyes,
I'm taken back to where we were,
Through the pain and loneliness,
I think of how much I Love You
Life in Paris is fast-paced,
It can swallow you up before you know it,
Life with her was beautiful,
But now only memories will show it.
I'm missing you Lish,
Missing the hot tubs,
Missing the curdles,
I'm missing you Candy
Missing the back rubs,
Missing the best
...friend a person will ever have,
...girl that a guy could ever Love.

Weep In a Flowerless Place
I walk on the rubble
Hard city concrete
Amid spaced-apart
Solitary trees
In the sad, grey afternoon
Autumn rain,
My shoes are weary and worn
Going down the ancient avenues
Where I paced myself
Broken-hearted a hundred times before.
I’m hungry for love and hope,
But live on the pointless stale bread
Of defeated, lingering memories
And impossible dreams that resurface
With cackling voices of mockery.
If my special friend could find me today,
She would weep in a flowerless place
For what has become of me.

Big Toe Free
Too many take risks,
With passion.
To set tracks on a path,
That seem irratic.
But not fanatically placed,
As paced.
With an energy unknown.
Some attempt to fit,
Battered shoes they do not own.
To say they can slip into fighting battles...
With a razzmatazz easily shown.
From fantasies chosen,
And condoned.
Me?
I prefer to keep my big toe free.
I'm not one to create injury,
To add to my own agony.

Fiat Lux
Forsaking superficiality
I’ll leap from sleep of forty years or more –
A wilderness too often paced before.
Tenderness replacing nugatory
Lacklustre hibernation's purgatory,
Upwards soars, exploding joy’s hot core.
XY, XY, new fusion bond explore,
Free change-range ‘magmatude’, tuned harmony
In lava-love outpour; nor echo’s progeny, -
An essay onanistic – nor a straw
The drowning clasp as undertow, nor bore
Life swallows when Death hollows destiny.
Unexpected is awakening's state -
X...citement words can only understate.
