Civil War- Still Alive
I see the rebel flag
flyin' high in the air.
For the south's still fightin' the civil war
most everywhere.
The heart of Dixie
is still ensconced
in bigotry and inequality.
It inflames my senses and sensibility.
Sure there are sweet magnolias
and southern hospitality.
But right up the street from that
lives inherited bigotry.
They live side by side
and try their best to hide
built up resentment from so long ago.
Will they ever take those flags down
or continue with the old banjo

Olympic Gold
The power the fitness of youth grips nationalistic hope
The Olympic gold only for the best with mind to cope,
Training and hard work fills the hearts to win'
To gain a place to represent and lose is no sin.
All nations hold hands in spirit to compete
Joy and flags waving with smiles, tears for defeat.
The runners, the jumpers, the swimmers and gymnasts
Thrill the world with memories that will always last,
The world of five continents together in the Olympic flag rings,
Togetherness their anthems the whole world sings.

Dawn In Paradise
As an angel is at dawn,
The reasons have swept us away
From the embarrassments and reflections,
The disagreements have ceased to come.
Just as we swear to order a boss or head around,
The swings of the bells have resulted
From the crimes we may now sign
As abolishing works of art.
The horses of the air shall penetrate
And glide with supreme sorrow
Like the enlightened garden
In paradise.
My problems for this grateful state
Are solved by their leaders
Who question and redesign
The flag according to love itself.

Salute You All
We Salute you all, the sons of Bangladesh,
You sang the Immortal song.
You roared, you growled against that
You thought was going wrong.
You knew your fate ahead and
You knew the Guns were raised,
You kept high the Flag of Honor,
To save your Mother Language.
They shed your blood, their bayonets spoke.
Still you held head High,
They couldn't sing the Last Song,
They couldn't close our eyes!
Thus you turned The Twenty-first,
A Memorable February Day,
Chhalam, Barkat, Shofique, Zabbar!
We salute you Everyday!

American Pride
I am proud to be an American
I am proud of our flag which flies,
And when I feel life, freedom and see hope,
I realize sacrifice is not greater than the prize.
I choose the way I need to live
And I write and say what I believe,
Though many will not agree with what I do or say,
But Liberty, gave me the right to be me.
I have gave my soul and thoughts for this land
As proudly I know freedom through sight,
And I will shed my blood, if needed me,
And if needed I would gladly, give my life.

Extent of Cookery
Aliusque et idem.
(Another and the same).
When Tom to Cambridge first was sent,
A plain brown bob he wore;
Read much, and look'd as though he meant
To be a fop no more.
See him to Lincoln's-Inn repair,
His resolution flag;
He cherishes a length of hair,
And tucks it in a bag.
Nor Coke nor Salkeld he regards,
But gets into the House,
And soon a judge's rank rewards
His pliant votes and bows.
Adieu, ye bobs! ye bags! give place;
Full bottoms come instead;

4th of July
Ahh,4th of July
A wonderful holiday for everyone in America
Tis’ the day when we got independence finally!
Fireworks on display in the sky.
Bam, there goes a star!
Whoosh, there goes a flag!
Click, there goes a heart!
Man, its fun celebrating this holiday!
Awww, fireworks are over!
Oh well, can’t wait to see the next years’ fireworks!
I’m sure it’s going to top this years’ fireworks!
I’ll always love 4th of July no matter what.
Fireworks are surely the best of this holiday for it represents our freedom!

Lord of the Flies
Oh Master my Master
Oh where have you been
I wallowed in filth and
I drowned in sin
Oh Master my Master
It's my rotten luck
To swim in the decay
And swallow the muck
Oh Master my Master
I stand in the fires
Surrounded by murderers
Thieves, cheaters, and liars
Oh Master my Master
the earth has turned red
Fluid with blood
Of the recently dead
Oh Master my Master
What's wrong with the world
The blackness unfolds
Like a flag that's unfurled

Andrews
Greetings to the Chiefs and the people of the Oguaa Traditional Area,
And let the sounds of the 'Fetu Afahye' be very joyful to you my love;
For, this is all that i have for you from my tradition.
My name is Andrews and, i am the flag bearer on my lovers heart;
For on this occcasion, she is all that i have to witness my culture.
It was like a dream when i met her! !
Of a journey on a tourist visit to meet you in love;
But calculating the works and the muse that it brings,
I do have to respect to my people a lot and on this love.

Disturbing Sleep
I saw an army in my dream
and though asleep I heard a scream.
'Oh wake me up so you won't see.'
said a warning voice to me.
But the dream went on and then I saw
a young boy dying,
others lying,
A young wife crying
and a false flag flying.
And then a thought surfaced in my dream.
The sound I'd heard was from my scream.
I awoke with tears upon my face.
I dried them but could not erase
the dream, the scream
and the torturous bloody awful scene.
It made me afraid to sleep at night
and impelled me to always hold on tight
to life.
