Quotes about india, page 6
Judgment is bound by space and time.
Miss India.
Is not superior or inferior
To Miss China
Miss India,2000
Is not superior or inferior
To Miss India,2005.
Judgment is space and time bound
And beyond the attack of those
Outside of that space and the time.

Sonnet: 58th Indian Independence-Day
’Tis fifty-eight years since India turned afree!
Our homage to all freedom-fighters great;
The blood of martyrs won freedom ably;
‘Satyagraha’, ‘Ahimsa’ set the date.
The Nation’s Father, Gandhiji was brave;
He etched a place that none can ev’r surpass;
The peace-tilak, tricolor flag, he gave;
We tend to forget how he fought, alas!
India’s democracy’s exemplary;
We want the world to live in amity;
‘Peaceful Co-existence’ message, we carry;
We will preserve India’s integrity.

I am India
Again I will emerge
again I will surge
Though troubles are there
challenges are there
But
I am India
I owe the will
I have the fire
Don't laugh sarcastic
don't show me statistic
You measure a nation
with his kill power
Don't you know
the miracle of a will power
I am India
I owe the will
I have the fire
I'm not worried of

Indian culture is the best like gold
Indian culture is the best like gold
India hath need of cultured men,
A gun or bomb may convert into a pen,
Educated men have a royal hold,
All women must be literate and bold,
And all dress as per their religions,
Way of living depends upon their regions,
Old is gold as we have been told,
And we all live with our fore – fathers!
But we think as lucky and blessed,
For humanity sake we help to others,
As the citizens of India we are addressed,
So as all the states are our brothers,
In the golden words Indian culture is expressed.

I want that India back
The Golden Bird
with rich culture,
Widely heard
for its treasure,
Remembered for
Great kings & great saints,
who took birth
on that land,
That dignity,
That greatness,
Now, where is that?
"I want that India back"
Rulers and dynasties
came and went,
But no one
too long remained,
Found defeated
and turned away,
Against its unity

Sonnet: The New President of India
A Scientist top has occupied the chair
Of President of India just today!
The ‘missile-man’ who darts off like a hare;
A pioneer in his field all the way.
Most people’s hearts are overwhelmed with joy!
A man of science will change our future fast;
He struggled all the way up since a boy;
A man of iron-will and glorious past.
This man of science believes in God as well!
A Poet too, he spreads his love-message;
His actions wise, his mettle soon will tell;
A war on ignorance, he will first wage.
India will become a Super- Pow’r soon!
And Indians will be up there on the Moon!

Shri. Pranab Mukherjee, the New Prez of India
Democracy has always proved the fact -
The better man does win the voters' hearts;
The better statesman gains a clear mandate;
The better leader turns victorious.
India's new President has won the race
To Rashtrapathi Bhavan in great style;
Deserving win for Pranab Mukherjee -
An elderly man with great energy!
The congressman is now first citizen!
Six decades of politics paid off well!
An administrator par excellence;
A man with many feathers in his cap!
A glorious peak for a politician!
A mighty man of mettle's lofty lift!
A great reward for one with immense grit;
An adorable Indian with fine wit!

Walkways Along The Roads
The pedestrians use the walkways
on either side of the road.
There are no jay walkers in Melbourne.
The young and old as well as the children
are aware of pelican crossing
and have no tension while walking across the road.
They walk their dogs too every day.
For those who walk on air, this city is safe.
‘Give Way' is the policy of all who drive vehicles.
Accidents galore on the roads in India.
Sugar-patients who leave the home before the dawn
won't come back home safe in India.
Rules of the road are wantonly broken.
The children take their grand dads and mums for a walk.
This is not ‘cat walk' or ‘space walk'
requiring special costumes. Benefits of walk speak.
They walk with verve to be virile.
They greet each other saying ‘hello' with a nice smile.
If a girl said, ‘hello' to a boy in India,

Ocean of Bravery Vavroovahana Patra
Netaji was born on 23rd January;
The day was august auspicious flowery.
Odia Bazar Kataka sings his glory day and night;
For crores of people fought against Britishres for freedom and delight.
Educated from Revenshaw Collegiate school, as a lion fought against
Britishers;
Gave up Indian civil service Desire.
“Give me blood, I would give you freedom” was his call and desire.
Built ‘Azad Hind Fauza ‘to fight against Britishers;
History sings his glory for bravery;
He is Odisha’s lion, its glory.
Janauinath Bhavana of Kataka reminds his memory;
With his dedication the nation is flowery.
President Hitler of germany embraced Subhasha with delight;
People of India enchanted with gaiety.
With the soldiers of “Azad Hind Fauza” threatened Britishers;
Britishers left India freeing India in the hands of fighters.
