I Can't Go To School Today

I can't go to school today
my fingers are as cold as ice
i will die
my hair is so messy it jummped off my head
i'm coughing so much it is like i am coughing up a storm
i have the flu
my dog ate my homework
i am a germ magnet
i'm going to vomit
my stomach hurts
i broke my leg
my throat is sore
i have no way to get there
it's my birthday
i only have one pair of clothes
i didn't eat my breakfast
my ear is ringing
some one is going to kill me
i can't go to school today

Thought-Magnets

With each strong thought, with every earnest longing
For aught thou deemest needful to thy soul,
Invisible vast forces are set thronging
Between thee and that goal.

our great city: magnet dusty
microcosm of worlds expansive
cultures meeting, lovers mating
in its hold of nerves ecstatic
tense with all its hopes and hatred

here in London, poets meet
hunters, posters, insight seekers
jokers, hubs and fair spokes-
persons for themselves and for all other
poets scratching for belief

light and blessings! in your smokeless
pubs turned into poetry corners
paths to gather forged and trod
by scriveners who came of old
to town to be immoderate and bold.

When she gives you the bug,
Love puts you in a tizzy sending you dizzy
Love can bring you to your knees,
Will you marry me please?
Love is blind for can't sees
Love is a magnet that holds that link,
Love makes you give your kitchen sink
With a house attached.
Relax you and your baby are really matched
Be a good boy work hard for your honey,
Bring home the flowers and plenty of money
Have eyes only for her and no one else's lips

The window opens to consider dreams,
Offering a Wight to emerge in totality;
The nightmare commences at the table
Of food and drink, only to be like the future.

Our windows are now shut, doors too,
Clanging is heard like that of a magnet,
The murderers are near to the soul,
Wondering of hard pain and their suffering.

This eye is my window and shadow
To be observed by the poltergeist in history;
Towards a great island they seem to travel,
Islands of morbidity lie like liars in the dust.

Expectation

I fear that I have lost you
not from things you say,
just from the things you leave unsaid
on too many a day.
But should I not have known, my love
that things would end like this?
For too many years have passed us by
since that long ago cherished kiss.

The constant living that was separate from me
is the magnet I can't fight.
I can understand that attraction
like the moth that's drawn to the light.
I cannot dowse the light I fear
nor capture the moth I see.
And so the loss is my heartache
that came expectedly.

A burning flame,
Threw the truck off,
its course,
The metal pipes,
smooth around,
sharp ends,
Came flying at us,

Our little car had no chance,
as I sat in the passenger seat.

Pathophobia

Vast emptiness preceded him,
when he stood inside a glass on road.
Sun did not contradict him,
light had entered back in stars.
Failed fingers knocked out the magnet. There
was no reason.

Pain in neck neglected for long
now becomes time,
impatient to meet beginning of end.
Blood was spurting in vain.
A black pearl of pure love
uncenters the lazy death.

He knew the secret of pathophobia,
had known the morbidity of troubled mind.
There was no return now to new words of mourning.
Grave masks were hiding
the smiling faces of unnames.
